My Ai files is showing modified date previous than the creation date so the data is lost.

All my AI files are showing trouble with the creation date and modified date. Henceforth 90% of my data is lost.

Where do you save your files?

Is "Save in background" turned on in the Preferences? If so, turn it off. That will not magically recover lost data, but might do its part in preventing issues in the future.
