My entire creative files are missing from 2021 since last update. Not on the cloud either. help.

My entire 2021 folder of Illustrator files in CC is gone since the last update and my mac will not shut down by itself.

I need desperate help pls.

Is your Mac frozen? If so, restart by holding the power button in at least 10 seconds or just pull the plug. 

If it's not, force quit any open apps.
