Hi,

When i click on the pencil tool, i click a black fill on the properties panel, but when i actually use the pencil tool to make a line for example, the line is transparant, i have to click on the line AGAIN and THEN apply a color.

Is this a bug or is there a setting that i'm unaware of?

Any help is greatly appreciated,.

Hello @TOLGA38021460on60,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/3RCifwf) so we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

By default the pencil tool ignores fills and draws with strokes only. Are you setting a fill but no stroke and attempting to draw? Then the tool will remove the fill.

If you want to draw with fills, double-click on the tool and check 'Fill New Pencil Strokes'.

If you want to draw with strokes, set a stroke colour before drawing and ignore fill.
