My petition to move "scale strokes and effects" to the Control Panel.

When I work in illustrator I am constantly changing the scale strokes setting multiple times an hour. It seems very odd to me that it is multiple panels away from my workspace when so many "set it and forget it" items are so easy to get to. Maybe my workflow is strange, but I feel like this may be a more universal annoyance than might be acknowledged. When looking for info about this, I did find a lot of novice IA users asking how to change this setting. A simple check box in the toolbar when the Select tool is active would be a lifesaver.

It's available in the Properties panel while the Selection tool is active and nothing is selected.

If you need to toggle this option constantly, you may consider to record two simple actions that would turn it on or off. Then assign two (simple) shortcuts to run the actions.

Oh wow. Thanks! I had no idea it was in properties because the top half of that panel is completely useless to me and I've never lengthened it beyond that. Appreciate the reply.
