Naming files

Hello,

I have a very strange problem with naming files. When i save a file and want to name it after first letter appears "ai" and the rest of file name continues to type after this. Same problem with the all Adobe products, by the way. Can someone help me with this?

I do it sometimes, it's not the case unfortunately

I've seen that happening on my Mac as well, although not in Illustrator.

Your system is not meant for running without end, it's not a server. It's a personal computer. Is the harddisk full? Are you saving into some crammed folder with thousands of files? Are you saving on a network? Or into a synchronized folder?

My storage is not full, i do updates and everything that needs. How did you solve that problem?

I don't think I did solve it. It sometimes happens again.

Hi .ai is extension name that always come with illustrator file so that is not a problem...regards

Try creating a new user - sorry you'll have to google that, I'm not on a mac, but I've seen a few things on the forum where a new user solved Mac finder / Adobe problems.
