Hi—
Uppdated Illustrator to the 2021-version yesterday and now I only get a blank page when opening it. Also unable to create new file in any way, just open previous .AI or .EPS-files. Updated the latest bug/stability fix just now, but still the same. What can be the reason for this? Jesus Christ I'm beginning to severely hate Adobe at this point with the constant updates…
Resetting your preferences may help:

As a workaround for the New File problem, you can try to check the "Use legacy"File New" interface in the Preferences > General.

Thanks for replying. Resetting preferences didn't work. Checking "Use legacy 'file new' interface" did work so I'll have to go with that. Though having to do this on a brand spanking new version of Illustrator is so annoying it makes we wanna throw the whole damn thing in the bin. Of course, I can't as I rely on it in my job as a designer.
Thanks again, Ton

I have the same problem. Reseting preferences did not work. Use legacy "File New" – works.
