No Import Options for PSB (Photoshop Large Document) Artboards into Illustrator

New Here ,
Mar 05, 2024 Mar 05, 2024

I have a PSB file with Artboards; when I import the .PSB (Photoshop Large Document) into Illustrator, I don't get the import options to pick which Artboards I want to import individually.

The "Show Import Options" box and the "Linked" box are clearly confirmed, the boxes are checked, when I am placing the file in a Illustrator project which results in importing the whole file as one image which burdens my computer. The processing is especially encumbered when I need to clip mask "artboards" from several PSB files.

I am running the current update versions of Photoshop and Illustrator:

Photoshop V25.51

Illustrator V28.3

Thank you for your support.

You may want to do a feature request (or check if it is already there):

https://illustrator.uservoice.com/

in the meantime you could export them from Photoshop:
