No matter what version of Illustrator, the color of the clipping mask will be wrong when the eyedropper tool is used, causing me to lose a lot of money.

My English is not good. You can make a cut mask in your illustrator, fill in the color, and then follow the operation in the video to absorb the color, which will make mistakes.

I can recreate the problem:
Create 2 objects, select them and create a clipping mask.
Apply a color to the mask.
Create an object.
Use the Eyedropper to pick up the mask color outside the clipped object.
The resulting color is different than the mask color.
The color is correct when the Eyedropper is inside the clipped object.

A workaround I use is to click the edge of the filled clipping mask — then the value gets picked correctly.
Definitely a bug — please upvote it.

This issue has been fixed in the latest Beta release 29.6.51. Color now gets picked correctly from filled clipping masks now. Please try it and comment back.
