Object cropping when importing to PS from Illustrator

Hello, I've been running into some issues when trying to bring editable illustrator smart objects into PS documents. The object seemingly crops on its' own when i bring it into PS. I attached pictures for reference...

Does it help if you increase the Limit for the black stroke in the Stroke panel in Illustrator?
