Object "ungroup" function is invalid

Object "ungroup" function is invalid, please fix it.

How do solve it currently:

1. Select object
2. Right click on mouse (pop up window)
3. Choose "Ungroup"
4. Then right click on mouse again, solved

You mean selecting 'Ungroup' from the Object menu doesn't work, but the contextual menu does?

Both work fine for me on AI 27.9 and 28, Windows 11
