Hello,
In the past couple of weeks, my Illustrator has suddenly started behaving strangely on my PC (Windows 11). Moving or resizing objects works absolutely fine until I try and hold shift to resize them with constant proportions (See video below). The shape then begins to glitch out and will not resize correctly. This problem can be recreated for me by opening Illustrator and happens every time without fail.
Note:
-This problem DOES NOT occur when creating a new shape as shown in the video, only when attempting to resize/rotate an existing shape while holding shift.
- This problem also DOES NOT occur when resizing multiple objects simultaneously while holding shift
- This problem does NOT exist on my laptop, just my PC
- Illustrator has been working fine for several months up to this point
Things I have currently attempted:
-Uninstall and reinstall illustrator
-Reset preferences
-Downgrade to an earlier version of illustrator
-Turn off smart guides
-Close any other running PC programs
UPDATE: FIXED. I feel dumb for not trying this, but simply creating a new project fixed the issue. This problem seems to exist only in the previous document I was working on. It must have somehow been corrupted.

Does it work better when Smart guides are turned off?

There is no effect at all when turning off smart guides. The problem still persists.

Glad you could solve the issue.
If you have the feeling that a document is corrupted, better copy everything inside to a new file.
