Hey all,

I am trying to do revisions to drawings for a client today and am getting a message, "Error Loading Plugins. DxfDwgFileFormat.aip". I click the Okay button, Illustrator opens up, but I cannot open ANY Illustrator files AT ALL. Client is NOT going to be happy. Illustrator updated a couple days ago (in the background, unbeknownst to me). I am running version 26.3.1. Also, I am on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6. I have no idea what's going on, it was working fine yesterday. I haven't changed anything. Why is this doing this?

Hi @Supernaut63,

We are sorry for the trouble. I would like to inform you that there has been an ongoing issue with this plugin. If it is one of that cases, then please try the following workarounds:

1. Upgrade to macOS 10.15 or newer.

2. Install an older version, i.e., v25.4.5.

3. Try the steps shared in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html)

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks & Regards,

Anshul Saini
