Basically I'm trying to apply gradient on some text and it's just staying black as the gradient is in greyscale. I can't find any options on the "Gradient" section to change from greyscale (it used to be there where "Hide Options" is but it's gone I guess) to RGB/CMYK. Anyone having the same problem?
Select the text object with the Selection arrow.
Remove the fill.
In the Appearance panel, add a new fill and make it a gradient.

I've done it again and it worked, thank you!
