This just started doing this about a week ago. When i open a file The "New File Splash Screen" stays in the forefront, and i cannot see the open files. It is very annoying.

Is this fixed or do i have to keep doing the Float in windows as a fix until Adobe fixes this bug?

Hello @Nathan Rule,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/49sr7vi), so we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Have you tried resetting your workspace already - or resetting your Illustrator preferences?

To reset your workspace, go to Window > Workspace > Reset.

To reset your preferences, go to Edit > Preferences and from the General tab, click Reset Preferences. You will then need to quit and relaunch Illustrator.
