I'm not understanding what you're posting, @ZBalling . Are you saying you want Illustrator to support opening multi-page PostScript files into Illustrator? Please clarify.

You can make a feature request as @Ton Frederiks suggests. I created PostScript files back in the 1980s (pre-Illustrator) but I'm afraid that the tiny number of people who currently do wouldn't justify paying an engineer to create such a feature.

Especially since the workaround is available, create a pdf and open in Illustrator

You can try a feature request here:

Seems pretty niche, how many people are needing this?

Adobe will say, "PostScript is obsolete. Surely we don't support that at all?? Oh, wait, we still allow EPS. That's so last millenium! Let me put in a change request to delete EPS support."

They cannot delete PS. Destiller literally exists for PS.
Anyway, all multi-page PS files I saw were from ghostscript.

I'm not talking about the Acrobat team, I'm talking (cos of where we are) about the Illustrator team. If you're inventing new workflows based on PostScript, you could be disappointed.

"they" can't. Apple can.
In Ventura Apple started to phase out PostScript support.
