Organizing Sponsor Logos for Event Print and Media Use

We are event organizers and to fund the event we create signage both in print and digital formats to promote our sponsors during the event. Signage can come in many different sizes for many different uses and can be a singular sponsor or be a logo wall anywhere up to 100+ sponsor logos. It could also be included in a logo loop for a video. During the 6-months of planning for our events we regularly Add, Remove, or Change around sponsor levels of a company. Showcasing a sponsor logo is ultimately very important and missing one is a terrible occurance. The problem occurs when there is an update of a sponsor and needing to make that logo change across the many different files we have in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects which are our primary platforms for creation. Having to make adjustments to every single file to add one logo can be time consuming. How can we work more effectiantly by updating one document and linking the works to that one file.

Can you describe the goal a bit more detailed?

You can place AI files into other AI files. Is that what you want?

The ultimate goal is to change out one master document of logos which if linked properly would remove, add or replace logos located on other creative files. Instead of having to change 12+ locations manually

As I said: place them. Keep a folder that contains all the logos.

Then File > Place and do not embed.

When you have to exchange a logo, make sure it's the same size and same filename.

You will have to open all the files at least before sending to production in order to update the links.

I don't think it is possible with the Creative Cloud. You would need some asset management system that keeps track of all the files in which a logo has been used. Currently an app like Illustrator is not even aware that one of the links has changed until you open the document. Let alone adding/removing elements automatically in many files.
