overprint preview? it seems it only applies to the Document, not to individual art
True that. How could we validate Overprint Preview for the document.
It seems there's no API for that property

by the way the same Adobe Employee asked both questions
ok but come to think of it, he wants to know if Overprint preview is on or off.
the answer in the link just toggles the preview on/off
