I am creating a banner for webstore, so I need a png at 1400px. I have my artboard set, created my artwork which is just a background color and a vector design placed ontop. When the vector design is white and it's exported as a png, the text, which is changed to outlines, disappears from the design. However if the design is black is does not disappear. I took some screenshots.
Image1, the design created.
Image2, showing the grouping
Image3, the export window - you can see HCCSC is missing
Image4, the open png file.
Eric,
You may have white set to overprint in the atrtributes panel, or something else may be the issue.

Why outline the live Type?

Opening the Attribute window, it showed a - sign. I checked the box, no difference, unchecked the box, no difference. It wasn't until I turned on the overprint preview [View > Overprint Preview]. After turning this on, I noticed that all white objects were gone. Highlighting the now hidden graphic, and unchecking the Overprint Fill in the Attribute window and saying yes to the warning window. The graphic come back as white and was able to be exported. Thank you for the help! Much Appreciated!

You are welcome, Eric.
Some things are really sneaky, and you really had to work for it; really scary and a great relief to know the happy ending.
Thank you very much for sharing.
