Pasting copy not showing results until I move my text box.

I just updated to the newest Illustrator version (29.4) When I copy and paste text now it doesn't show the pasted text until I move the frame. I updated my computer ( Sequoia 15.4) thinking it could be that. Nope, the only thing that changed was my version of Illustrator. It seems with each new update, and all the new fancy ai stuff, all the basic functions break.

I double checked with my coworker and they're having the same issue.

Could you confirm if this happens when copying text from a particular application, so I can better assist you?
Also try pasting without formatting and share your observations.

I'm pasting copy from a landing page via Google Chrome. Here is another recording. When its pasted as non-formatted copy it's fine, but when I paste to formatted it copy it happens.
