PDF probelm with lens flare

hi, I was working for a client today where I used lens flares in the file, now when I save it to PDF it displays a weird background on stars, please see the file attached and let me know if there is a solution for this

That is what I tried to explain, these kind of blend modes do not convert well to CMYK.

First try to rasterize all the lens flares together with the background instead of each one separately. Than convert to CMYK. 

Use a COPY so you can still modify the original.

Do you work in an RGB document?

Thes kind of effects use blend modes that do not translate well to CMYK.

Did your PDF version convert to CMYK?

You may want to rasterize the problem objects with the background.

converting to CMYK doesn't work and by rasterizing I get white background behind each lens flare
