Hi,
So I am working an illustrator file. The background is an image set to 18% of its original opacity.
When I export the file to PDF, there is a rectangular area where the background appears as if it had more opacity than the rest of the pdf.
This only happens when I open it in my cellphone or a browser, because when I open the pdf with Acrobat, it is just fine.
Please help! I need to send this to a client
thanks!!
Yes, it is a simple vector graphic.
Actually, I sorted it out. This logo of a sheep and a beacon was a subgroup inside a bigger group. So I tried ungrouping everything and it worked! I no longer have the problem.
thankyou anyways for your help and your interest

Other PDF viewers than Acrobat are not reliable. Especially with transparency.

It's appearing only in the area where the green portion of the beaker graphic is. What sort of graphic is it and how is it applied? Transparency effects? etc.
