pen tool glitches

Hey so i don't know how to fix this so i hope that somebody knows but my pen tool kliks somewhere else then where i klik (sorry for broken English) does someone pleas know what is wrong?!!!

And also: when was the last time you turned off that Macbook and rebooted the system?

I have just deleted illustrator and ubdated my macbook so thats not it, and sometimes its like 1 mm of and the other time its aroud 9 mm of

What kind of mouse is it? Do you have any fancy system extension installed to "improve" the mouse?

its a gaming mouse and my mousepad 😅

Can you try a different mouse?

 nope but it happens to both my mouse and mousepad so i think it wil happen with an other mouse as well

Does it happen when you use the touchpad?

If you cannot try out a different mouse, then this will be impossible to solve.

it happens with both touchpad and mouse, i bought this mouse 2 weeks ago it sould not me a problem

Does it also happens in new standard size documents? What happens if you copy and paste your artwork in such a new document?

if tried to do it in a a3 document and a a4 document but it happens with both sizes sadly

no this is the only think that is happening at the moment i havent had any other problems exept this

Since you’ve tried multiple input devices and different document sizes, it seems like there might be something else affecting the tool’s accuracy. Besides checking for snapping options, as Ton suggested, you could also try resetting Illustrator’s preferences. Sometimes, corrupt preferences can cause strange behaviors.

If this doesn’t help, there might be a deeper system-level issue affecting how the pen tool registers click. You could also try testing it in a new user account on your Mac to rule out any profile-specific problems.
