Pen-tool problem

Hi I don't really know how to explain this...but everytime I use the pen tool I get this white blob underneath it. I need help please thanks. 2021-11-15 (9).pngHere's an image to describe my situation.

See the fill/stroke icons near the bottom of the tools panel. Select the fill and remove it.

The object has a white fill assigned (picture 1).

 

Before using the Pen tool, set the fill to None (picture 2).

 

When the Fill/Stroke proxy looks like picture 3, your Pen work will just have a black stroke, and no fill.
