Perspective removed from new 3D update?

Working with the new 3D and Materials > Extrude & Bevel tools and wondering why the perspective has been removed. This is something I use every day. I understand that it is still in the 3D (Classic) tools, but it seems odd that such basic functionality is missing from the updated tool. Am I to assume that the new 3D tools only allow for isometric extrusions?

The new 3D tools are a 'technology preview' and the functionality so far is not necessarily final.

Got it. So Adobe kinda jumped the gun on releasing new tools that are not ready to be used for actual work. Thanks!

If you can define 'jumped the gun' as something done intentionally, sure.

You're testing it for them, for free. It's in your EULA. Nope, not even a thank you.
