PNG with transparent background, placing into Illustrator with a background.

I feel struggling with this issue. I have tried to switch from GPU to CPU preview, asset formet, updated but still not working. How should I do? I turn on the opacity & mask define knockout shape and it shows transparent. However when I export jpg, the png part becomes jpg too.

Yes it would. There is no transparency in the JPG format.
