Hi there, I'm creating a poster that will be printed at 4 ft (width) x 5 ft (height).

Wondering what size I need to have the file be in illustrator in terms of inches or pixels?

Thanks

Actually the best is to contact the printer and ask him the prining spec.

Some like it in Inches some will ask you to leaveit in ft.

I would not use pixels (the size of a pixel depends on ppi, how many will be used in an inch).

If inches is used in your country, use inches.

Actually is should nor matter.

If you setup your poster in ft, you can show the Ruler and Ctrl click the ruler to change the units into whatever you like (and your printer likes).
