Pre-releaseded Ai

Hi, When someone sends me an Ai file, it automatically tries to open in the pre-released version of Ai. Bu this option is not available anymore, and I am not able to open files. Would you please advise what can be done? Is it possible to remove the pre-released version from the computer? Thank you!

You can edit the default application for the file extension

You can also uninstall the prerelease version.

Hi, I still have a problem opening Ai files that were sent to me by someone else.

I uninstall Prerelised Ai as was suggested.

Now I just get a pop-up message that the file can’t be open:(

Have you changed the default app associated with Ai files in your operating system as per Monika's first suggestion?
