Presentation mode pushing out bottom bar

Whenever I exit Presentation Mode, the bottom bar where I have the zoom level, bottom of some panels, etc. gets pushed down about 50 pixels outside of the viewing area on the screen. It's kind of a hassle because I have to resize the window each time.

Before & after attached.

The easy fix is to stop using Presentation Mode to preview things, but is there a way to fix this?

Are you working from a maximised full screen to start with before you switch to the presentation mode?

I'm not using it in full screen mode and have it set as: View -> Screen Mode -> Normal
