Printing to hp 365 printer

I'm hoping someone can help me. We purchased an HP365 latex printer and want to use illustrator with it. The rep convinced us to get flexi, which we do not like, and we are having the hardest time. Can I print to this printer from illustrator?  We have the printer and the plotter.

Do you have to use it, or can you print direct (is it a postscript printer?)

Curious why you didn't get your rep to show you how to use it...

It came with a manual? If not you can download from their website.
