Hi, so, i was working on a school project and then, when trying to save as an editable file, it was showing an error saying "This file cannot be found", i don't know how to solve this problem, but i really need to save this in case i need to rework it...

Ps. I never saved it, so it was literally the first time saving it not like, saving on over another copy

Hello @GuilhermeSimão,

Could you try copying the layers/objects from this file to a new one to see if it helps? Also, try saving this file as a PDF with Illustrator editing capabilities enabled and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Are you trying to save on a file server? If so, try saving locally.

Also: turn off "Save in background" in the Illustrator preferences.

Sorry, file server? didn't get it...

I've been trying to save locally and doesn't work, just deactivated what you suggested and still, gives me the exact same error.

Thanks for the help anyways.
