hi, i've a problem with expanded straight lines series. When generated my fusion of straight lines and I try to shape it with the eraser, the straight direction is lost. A distortion of the line occurs in a casual way. I tried different Illustrator versions on different PC with the same result. How can i fix?

Many thanks in advance

Dear Doug,

many thanks for your reply and links to previous posts on this topic. Very sad to know no solution was found in a such long time by the developers team. I know some digital artists base their style of etching and retro vintage illustrations on this technique to shape the lines for shadows and textures, so they are only lucky their laptops work well!!?!?!.. Anyway thanks for your attention and for your kind reply. Best regards!

Either:

1. They work at a scale where this bug is not noticeable.

2. They put up with the bug.

3. They use a method that does not depend on the eraser.
