"add elements" to Library is greyed out

I am unable to add elements to the library in Ilustrator CC v 26.0.2. I am able to add elements in Photoshop CC. I am also getting an error when loading Illustrator that says:

Dont know if this is related. I tried setting preference back to defualt. Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator and Creative Cloud Desktop.

Hi please make sure both softwares are at same version maybe that help...regards

If reinstalling (and restaring your computer) does not help, try thr Cleaner tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
