Random swatches fill error?

hey everyone!

hoping someone knows how to solve this problem.

when i try to use the random swatches fill script, i get this error?

any help would be appreciated!

I did all the steps and placed the script in the correct folder.

That script works fine, make sure that when you copy and paste the script that you paste it in a text only format file. On a Mac in Textedit you can choose Format > Make plain text.

Are the objects ungrouped?

Did you paste the script in a text only document (no RTF)?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes the objects are ungrouped .

I am not sure about the RTF thing, but the script is in .js format 

i am using adobe illustrator 2023

this is where i got the script :
