Recently, when I output a PDF from Illustrator, it includes bleed when I only want the artboard

The title says it all. Recently, whenever I output a PDF from Illustrator, it will include the .125 bleed around the outer edge. This has never been a problem before. Before, whenever I would output a PDF it would only save the artboard and would not include the .125 bleed. Now, to output a PDF that is true to the artboard, I have to take off bleed, and then when I'm sending printer files, have to include it again. What's going on?
