Hi! I have an issue as sometimes, when I select some imported objects, my canvas becomes tinted in red. I think it may be due to color profiles and I don't know how to solve it. Any idea? Best regards, Yuri

That sounds like the behavior of an alpha channel in a Photoshop layout.

Does it stay like that or is it temporarely red?

It's really weird since in a moment it turns red, but not all the canvas, it appears a rectangle in red with opacity and if I move any object behind where it was positioned I see the canvas in white... I'm going to see if it happens again (I'm sure it's gonna do) and carture the screen to upload for you to see. Thanx for your kind reply! ☺️

Does switching preview help? Could be a graphics card accelleration artefact.
Cmd or Ctrl + E to switch between previews.

Thank you so much, Ton! I will try. I have updated macOS SEQUOIA and now ti seems to work properly fine, but if the issue appears again I will try what you say. Best regards, Yuri

Hi @Belialchemist,
Thanks for reaching out. Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator you're using and share your operating system details? It would also be really helpful if you could include a screenshot showing how the canvas looks when it turns red, and mention whether it stays that way or goes back to normal.
Looking forward to your update.
Abhishek
