Hello, i want to know how to Remove the white background outside an object but keep the white in the inside using Illustrator. please see the video below to understand more. when I want to remove the white background, it's all removed, I want to keep the black background inside the ghost.

Try the Shapebuilder tool and click the background with the Alt key depressed.

Use the live paint tool and paint the object white after removing the background.

doesn't work too. I think on the right side top near the hat there is an unclosed path it need to be closed but I don't know how

You can view the gaps from the View menu: View > Show Live Paint Gaps
You can control the gaps from the Object menu: Object > Live Paint > Gap Options. Illustrator can treat the gaps as if they were closed.
