Whenever I happen to add something to my illustrator, a sign comes up that says rendering 3d and materials effect. How do I stop this sign from coming up?
You do not have any 3D objects in your file?
Do you have any graphic styles with 3D?
No, I have no 3D objects
When was the last time you rebooted the computer?
It's been a while, I guess around 3-4 days ago.
Rebooting will free up RAM and might generally clean stuff up.
Does this only happen in a specific AI file? Or in all files?
It happens in all files. I'll reboot it when I get back home. Thanks for the help
I hope the issue is resolved with Monika's suggestion. If not, would you mind checking if this is happening in a document or not? If yes, would you mind sharing files in which this happening & from where you are adding in the Illustrator file, as Doug has requested, and a screen recording demonstrating the issue or a screenshot of the message/ sign would be really helpful for further investigation?
Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.
Yes, this issue has been resolved. Thanks though.
Glad to hear that, @Deep28151193rmic. Would you mind confirming how the issue got resolved so other users facing the same issue may get benefited from this?
Also, please feel free to reach out if you run into any other questions or issues in the future. We'd be happy to help.
I rebooted my laptop, and the rendering went away.
I sure will reach out if I run into any other issues.
Can you share a sample Illustrator file?
