RTL & LTR button in ILLUSTRATOR CC 2017 21.0.0

I just updated my illustrator into the middle eastern version.

On photoshop and Indesign the RTL and LTR button are appearing well but not on illustrator.

I cannot use the style of my previous file to continue my work.

and all my punctuation and number are disorganised cause of that.

I read different article on this forum where people say select " show indic" option in the type preference, but this is not solving anything because without the button your font will look correct but all the way of reading and punctuation are not working.

Do anyone have a solution or its a mistake from adobe who forget to place the option on illustrator ?

Hi Romain,

Is this issue still happening with your Illustrator? I have the feeling that your Illustrator is not the Middle Eastern version, you may test this by looking at the the Type Tool, do you see the "Right-To-Left Type tool? if not, then your Illustrator is certainly not an ME and all you have to do is uninstall it and make sure to change the language in Adobe CC desktop menu Preferences then download Illustrator ME.
