Save for web-white parts of artwork are disappearing

I had to create a mock up for a client and had to save it for web. I noticed that all parts of the artwork that are white disappear during the process of saving for web. Now we use this Export function countless of times  and never had this problem before.

Select those objects and in the Attributes panel check if they are overprinting. If so, turn that off.

Window > Attributes
