Saving AI file as shown without path lines

New Here ,
Jan 08, 2024 Jan 08, 2024

I'm working on an image that is going to be used as a laser cutout and when I try and upload the file, all of my hidden paths still appear.

How can I save the file so that it only shows the paths visible in the project. I know when I hite CTRL+Y I can see all of the hidden paths but I don't want those to be included.

With upload you mean open in another software?

You will always have to take into account that other software doesn't understand Illustrator's hidden objects.

So it's best to duplicate the file and delete everything from it that you do not want in it for the upload.
