Saving to Ai Problem

Hello All, im Using The Newest AI, and i cant save my design into ai file....i just save it into eps. Please see my screeshoot!

What happens if you click on the Learn More text? Any hints as to what might be going on?

Are you able to save if you copy the objects in your file and paste them into a new Illustrator document?

Save local (try the desktop) and sometimes turning off Save in Background in the Preferences helps.
