selected objects in Illustrator

I have drawn an object in the programme before, for example a square, and when I click 1 time, it does not appear that it is selected, and when I move it to another place with the mouse, the selected object follows the mosu and remained constant until yesterday.
At the moment, the selection moves as if I select and press the mouse button.

Is that on a Mac? If so, do you have the Magnet app installed?

There are still inexplicable issues with Sonoma.

You could check out whether anything in the accessibility options of the system settings might be causing it.
