Selecting Artboards on Illustrator isn't functioning properly

Selecting artboards while exporting JPG/PNG isn't functioning properly in the latest update. Sometimes it works sometime it doesn't. It happens the same while saving as PDF. Please fix this.

Does a reboot or resetting the preferences solve it?
