All of a sudden, I cannot drag objects while holding down the shift key. This is a real problem because I am thus unable to ensure that every thing shift exactly where it was on one particular axis! I've struugled with this all day. Please advise. Video attached.
Also, I forgot to add that the problem worsens the more one zooms into the image. AND generally moving or cropping a group of objects makes the rainbow appear, even though the file is light (1.6 mb) and it takes no time at all to copy the objects or paste in place. It's trying to move them that's an absolute nightmare, EVEN if one enter the co-ordinates in the x and y boxes. I've got almost no work done today as a result, and totally frustrated. Would really appreciate help! Thank you.
We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. I tried replicating this on my end but was unable to do so. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps? Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.
