Snap to anchor point is off, even with smart guides

I have smart guides on, but when I try to start a line from the anchor point of an existing object, or align anchor point to anchor point, it doesn't work. It'll snap to or start from a few pixels away from the anchor point where I'm clicking.  Very frustrating, please send help. Screen recording is attached.

There is probably either Snap to pixels or Snap to grid turned on in your document. Check the View menu

Oh. I think turning off snap to pixels worked. Had a feeling it was probably something simple I was missing—thank you!!
