Where are the colors bland, screen or print? Depending on the ultimate function of your PDF is what color space I would choose.

  1. RGB - If to be uploaded to a website, email or displayed on screen.
  2. CMYK - To be printed.

RGB has a larger color gamut and will give you more saturated colors. The first setting you establish when making a new illustrator document si file >> Doucment Color Mode > RGB or CMYK

You can quickly recolor your document  using shift  Eyedropper to fill your selected shapes with sampled  RGB  equivalents.

Actually i already turned on the CMYK mode before printing it, but unfortunalety the colors are still bland. Am i missing something in the process ?

Here's pictures of how it is on Illustrator and on PDF.

Can you put them side by side into the same image?

Because this way we cannot compare them.
