Hi all,

I have a very complex, very large artboard which the print size will be 4' x 16'.  I need to split this in two, they will be printed and placed together as one, but are being printed on 4' x 8' sheets.  Can I easily split into two artboards, without loosing the layers etc.

Once this is split I would like to move objects around, for example, one that is on artboard 1 I may want to move over to artboard 2 etc.

If you have any helpful tips, I would much appreciate hearing!

You could create 2 rectangles, each coverin half of the artboard.

Select both and choose Object > Artboards > Convert to Artboards.

Now you have 3 artboards , the largest one you can delete if you want.
