Strange out lines when using divide in illustrator

Hello!

I'm working on a logo design, trying to create a white-out version of the logo in which the text knocks through the gradient behind.

The text is knocking out ok using the pathfinder tool but I'm getting these strange lines - see the white lines around the P in the attached...

I can't grab them, they are like a glitch?! I've tried expanding the text and it is outlined, I've also closed and reopened the file but its still happening. Can anyone help please? It's only viewable at a very close-up magnification but its still annoying to have it there!

Hi Doug,
Thanks for your reply - yes its gone when I go to preview on CPU.

I'm not familiar with that setting. Would you know why this is not viewable on CPU preview?

It seems like it may be a graphic card/processing issue from a quick Google search on CPU. Would that be correct? Thanks again.

Yes, it's a visual bug. There are a range of recognisable ones such as this, but I haven't seen it reported in some time. What version of Illustrator are you using?
