Hello,

I'm sure I disabled the stroke of a textline, but it is still visible as a very thin outline.

It's not only rendered on .ai but also visible when I export it to a pdf.

What could have I missed?

It's most probably the fill from the Characters appearance level showing.

Double click on 'Characters' in the appearance panel and remove the fill from there.
