Stroke size in illustrator

How do I make stroke point 0.001 without any distortion in the stroke.

Without seeing what you see, I guess it is caused by the fast, but sometimes inaccurate GPU Preview.

Try if switching to CPU Preview helps: Cmd or Ctrl E (or use the View menu).

This does not affect print or export.

That helped! I am exporting it as DXF. Will it be fine with the person to whom I will be sending for laser cutting?

You will have to ask the person who does the laser cutting, but because it is a preview artifact, the file should be fine.
